5 SECRETS TO KEEPING YOUR MAN FAITHFUL

By Nancy Roxanne Sunday, Sep 20th 2015 at 16:11

5 secrets to keeping your man faithful

With the divorce rate on the rise due to infidelity, it is safe to say that men who remain monogamous within the marriage are increasingly becoming a minority. A lot of men cheat on their partners at some point in the marriage or relationship.

More often than not, men cheat, not because they don’t love you anymore, but because of a variety of reasons. Some complain of being bored. Others cheat because they want more variety in their sex lives. Some do not feel adored by their partners.

Sometimes a man will cheat because he no longer feels like a priority in his partner’s life and hence seeks somebody who places them at the centre of their life. All women strive to have happy relationships. The following are a few tips on how to make your relationship totally affair-proof.

Ensure he nurtures meaningful friendships

It is true that you cannot give a man everything. The man in your life is bound to have interests that do not intrigue you in the least, like football and video games. Since you might not be up to accompanying him to these activities, it is important that he nurtures friendships with other males whom he can watch football and play video games with. As such, he is less likely to stray.

Never stop dating

After being together for a while, people tend to get comfortable. You get careers and kids and suddenly the two of you never have time for each other anymore. If you want to keep mpango wa kando at bay, set aside at least one night a week and spend that time just the two of you. If you have children, arrange for someone else to watch them so you can have no interruptions. Ensure that you dress nicely just like you did when you first started going out. This will bring some very definite rewards to a marriage.

Make friends with happy couples

Your friends influence you more than you think. If he is hanging around with a bunch of single guys or guys who do not take commitment very seriously, he is more likely to sleep around as well. On the other hand, if the two of you hang around with happily committed couples, the likelihood of anyone straying is greatly reduced.

Do not be afraid to initiate sex

Men like to feel desired. It is not enough that you are always willing to get down and dirty when the craving strikes. You need to show him that you are crazy about him by initiating sex. Something as simple as sending him a naughty text when he is at work will let him know that you are thinking about him. If he does not get it from you, he will get it elsewhere

Let him have some alone time

A man should be allowed to have his free time. If he starts to feel that his freedom is restricted when he is with you, he might engage in an affair. You should never monopolise his time or come across as controlling. Let him have guys night out and pursue his hobbies without nagging him.

Government orders for re-opening of all schools on Monday 28/9/2015 after court suspended teachers’ strike

By Standard Reporter

Friday, September 25th 2015 at 19:14 GMT +3

The Government has ordered for re-opening of all schools on Monday 28/9/2015 after court suspended teachers’ strike for 90 days.

Following a teachers’ strike over a pay dispute, the government ordered for revision of term dates for all public and private schools with effect from 21stSeptember 2015 with an indication that the said dates were to be released in due course.

In the circumstances and in line with the Basic Education Act 2013 section 95(3) (h) it has been decided as follows:

1. All schools resume on Monday 28th September 2015, for standard 1- 7 and forms 1- 3 who were similarly affected.

2. Considering that during the period of the pay dispute there was little learning in some schools while others did the full load as planned, it is directed that schools that were fully on, continue with the remaining portion of the term. Schools that bore the full effect of the dispute will extend the term by one week and forego the half-term break. The remaining lost time will be recovered in the subsequent terms in the school calendar year 2016.

3. No school shall levy any extra fees on parents on pretext of covering costs occasioned by the pay dispute.

4. Education calendar for the year 2016 will be released in due course.

5. Term dates for third term 2015 will be as follows; Monday 28th September 2015 and closing Friday 20th November 2015.

The Former Cabinet Minister Mbiyu Koinange estate suit settled by 25 judges, 35 years later

Two women claiming to be widows of former Cabinet Minister Mbiyu Koinange were dealt a major blow yesterday after the High Court ruled that they have no legitimate claim to his vast estate.

After 35 years and 25 judges, the High Court finally brought the succession battle to rest, with Margaret Njeri and Eddah Wanjiru being disposed. The court ruled that two were not beneficiaries of the late Koinange’s estate valued at Sh17.4 billion.

High Court Judge William Musyoka, being the 25th judge to handle the dispute, ordered the two women to give back what they had acquired from the former powerful minister who served in Jomo Kenyatta’s government.

“As I have found Margaret Njeri and Eddah Wanjiru not to be the widows of the deceased, I hereby declare that they have ceased to be the administrators of the estate of the deceased,” ruled Justice Musyoka.

Lost property

The judge bestowed Mbiyu’s sons David Njunu, Mbiyu Koinange and David Waiganjo the task of managing the estate and recovering what had been lost through fraud.

The three men were ordered to ensure they reposes parcels of land and Ocean View Hotel Ltd which had changed hands under unclear circumstances.

In the case, the court heard that the late Mbiyu Koinange was married to Mrs Njeri but  parted ways, only for her to marry his brother Charles Karuga. It was testified that the two (Mbiyu and Njeri) never had children during their marriage.

Wanjiru too claimed that Mbiyu, the man who served in government for 16 years, was her husband.

But the court heard that she was the late minister’s assistant and only cohabited briefly. She too never had a child with the politician and got married to another man just before he passed away.

The man who took in Wanjiru was Harry Reginol with whom she got three children – Silvia Wambui, Phiona Wahu and Benjamin.

The case pitted four families, comprising that of Loise Wanjiru ( first wife) Damaris Mbiyu (second wife), Wanjiru and Njeri.

In total, 21 people were claiming a stake of his estate and shares held in several firms across the country.

Mbiyu’s children claimed some of the assets were not available for distribution for they were sold illegally, pointing fingers at Wanjiru and Njeri.

To facilitate the distribution of Kiambaa/Waguthu/2324, I direct the Land Registrar responsible for Kiambu County to cancel the registration in favour of Wanjiru Mbiyu and instead have the same registered in the name of the estate of the deceased,” the judge ruled.

Wanjiru also lost 11,000 shares in Mombasa’s Ocean View Hotel.

A private firm also lost its claim on the Muthera farm as the judge revoked the transfer of the property. Impulse developers had bought the land in 2005.

The judge directed that the land in Lunga Lunga, Nairobi, be sold to settle all debts accrued by the late minister’s estate. The land is estimated to be worth more than Sh2 billion.

Lawyers who were claiming a share of the estate for representing the children in the case were not spared either. The judge said that they would not have a taste of the estate as legal fees accrued by litigating on behalf of Mbiyu’s kins.

“The matter of advocates kept on coming up in the course of oral hearing, with advocates who previously acted for some of the parties urging me to allow them to have the matter of their fees determined before the distribution of the estate. Advocates fees are not debts of the estate,” he ruled.

Epic case

“An advocate who acts for an estate, administrator, heir or beneficiary does not become an heir or beneficiary. He is therefore not entitled to participate in the distribution of the estate in terms of being catered for as an heir,” Justice Musyoka ruled.

Nearly all the judges in the High Court and Court of Appeal, save for those recently recruited, have in one way or another dealt with the Koinange succession suit. So have those who went home  either by retirement or being dismissed by the Judges and Magistrates Vetting Board.

The case was also at one point heard by Deputy Chief Justice Kalpana Rawal. It is among the most unique and epic succession cases in Kenya’s history as more than 50 parallel cases have been filed since the initial case moved to the corridors of justice. For the past 35 years, since succession suit No 527 was filed in court in 1981, little progress had been made to resolve the dispute until yesterday.

Kenya: Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery orders Senator Johnstone Muthama to record statement with CID over CORD rally remarks

By Cyrus Ombati

Friday, September 25th 2015
NAIROBI: Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery has joined those calling for the grilling of Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama over alleged incitement.

Nkaissery wants CID to grill the senator on claims remarks he made at Uhuru Park calling for unconstitutional change of government.

The CS also claims Muthama accused President Kenyatta of interfering with constitutional dispensation of Burundi and that his statements undermine the authority of a public officer.

The minister claims the statements are obscene and indecent and undermine NCIC Act on his remarks that the president is out to ensure children of the poor continue to suffer in poverty. A section of TNA MPs have also called for questioning of the Senator.

“The pronouncements are choreographed to stir up ethnic hatred against the president in view of his purported preferences. Given the implications of these statements for fracturing the society, I expect the National Cohesion and Integration Commission as a matter of urgency, commence investigation on each of these and any other claims and allegations made that impact negatively on the efforts to enhance national cohesion and integration of Kenyan people,” he said.

Nkaissery said Muthama has made a habit of verbally attacking state officers in a matter that is intended to undermine cohesion and national unity for political gain.

He argued his remarks brings disrepute to the president, undermines cohesion and stability of the country with the potential to cause uncertainty, tension and threatening national security.

“It is therefore imperative that investigations into the speech and its intent begin in earnest. Senator Muthama should immediately record a statement at the Criminal Investigation Department,” he said.

Muthama made the remarks on Wednesday during a rally by the opposition to push for the payment of teachers who are on strike.

The opposition says the move to focus on Muthama remarks is aimed at swaying public attention from corruption issues and the teachers’ strike. Public schools have been closed over the strike.

PRESIDENT OBAMA'S COUSIN, MARIE AUMA, SUES POLICE SH64M OVER FARTING CLAIMS

By Mirror Thursday, Sep 24th 2015

Obama's cousin, Marie Auma

Marie Auma told a court that officers and staff at Southwark Police Station conspired to bully her.

One of Barack Obama's cousins is suing the Met Police for £400,000 pounds over claims colleagues subjected her to a campaign of harassment and passed wind next to her desk.

Marie Auma told a court that officers and staff at Southwark Police Station conspired to bully her - with two officers regularly breaking wind near her in a "primitive" and "loud" manner.

The 57-year-old, who was at American President Obama's inauguration in 2009, claims she was constantly belittled and humiliated between 2007 and 2009.

The harassment began in 2007 when she was refused leave to visit her two brothers' graves after they died in a car crash in Kenya and ended in her being medically retired with mental health difficulties, the court heard.

Ms Auma, of Green Lanes, Palmers Green, north London, is fighting for £400,000 compensation in a trial at Central London County Court. The Met denies liability.

Judge Simon Freeland QC heard Ms Auma, whose job involved liaising with crime victims on the Telephone Investigations Bureau, had been the victim of "21st Century bullying."

Describing how colleagues would break wind next to her, Ms Auma said: "This was happening on the telephone investigation desk.

"It became a common practice and nobody was investigating this behaviour.

"It was two of them - PC Andy Whiting and Ray Clement - who would do this kind of behaviour.

"PC Whiting was passing wind when he came and stood right in front of me, passing wind in a very primitive way. It made a "brrrp" noise.

"He would come and stand right in front of me and blew the wind loudly and then left.

"It was normally when I was on a late shift that they would behave in that manner."

However, Iain Daniels, representing the Met, suggested: "This was a matter to laugh about, rather than become upset about."

Ms Auma responded that it happened "so often that it was upsetting."

Mr Daniels then suggested: "This piece of childishness didn't in fact happen, did it?"

The court was told Ms Auma also received an increase in "rude" emails across 2007 from colleagues, including PC Whiting, which prevented her doing her job.

According to her barrister, Lorraine Mensah, a Fairness at Work investigation uncovered a "stack" of emails supporting this claim, but these have since been destroyed.

"They were rude emails but not emails which I have now to hand," Ms Auma said.

"I had an increase in these emails and people on the desk noticed that.

"I could not get on with my other jobs in the morning because I had to deal with these emails."

Mr Daniels countered: "I am going to suggest that if this was a campaign against you then Andy Whiting was not a part of that.

"If you were getting more emails than other people it was because your work was not of a good standard.

"There were concerns over the consistency of your CRIS (Crime Report Information System) reports because you were not filling them out properly."

The court heard that Ms Auma was often asked to go on "inappropriate" breaks while filling out CRIS reports, and she was subsequently logged out of the system half way through her work.

Speaking of her line manager, DS Andy Rowley, Ms Auma said: "He used to single me out and tell me to take breaks when I was in the middle of my reports, asking me to take inappropriate breaks."

Asked whether he perceived this as part of a conspiracy to disrupt her work, Ms Auma responded: "Yes, that's how I saw it."

When Mrs Auma's two brothers died in Kenya in a car crash in early 2007 she took two weeks compassionate leave, something she claims was interrupted by unnecessary calls from HR about her health and DS Rowley asking whether he could visit her home.

"These were a series of unnecessary questions being asked when I was going through this," Mrs Auma said.

Mr Daniels responded: "These questions were not inappropriate.

"It was just the way you were feeling. These management actions, we would suggest, were perfectly appropriate, which you saw through the lens of your awful bereavement.

"So when somebody asked about your health, because of how terrible the bereavement was, you felt like somebody was attacking you.

"What you perceived as bullying and harassment was really just a product of the terrible tragedy that you had suffered in 2007.

"All those inquiries about your health were not harassment."

Ms Auma is related to Mr Obama through her aunt, Kezia Obama, who is the president's Bracknell, Berkshire-based step-mother.

Mr Daniels said Ms Auma had booked her trip to Kenya without first getting permission.

He said senior staff had refused her leave before she even bought the flight ticket. The High Court hearing continues.

NO REFUGEES, NO TERRORISM THE SUREST WAY TO KEEP MUSLIM TERRORISTS OUT IS NOT TO LET ANY MUSLIM IMMIGRANTS IN

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is a New York writer focusing on radical Islam.

Jordan’s Queen Rania told Europeans that they could either take in the Syrian refugees that her country doesn’t want or the refugees would turn to terrorism. And what if these “refugees,” like so many of the other Muslims who had settled in Europe over the years, decide that they like terrorism anyway?

tenth of London approves of ISIS now. Support for the Islamic State among the younger population in the UK, where Muslim demographics predominate, reaches as high as 14 percent.

What will it look like when tens of thousands of Muslims from the homeland of the Islamic State are added to the population? How much support will there be for Islamic terrorism a decade from now when the mass Muslim migration has fundamentally reshaped the UK’s religious demographics?

A recent poll of Syrians showed that 22 percent believed that ISIS had a positive influence on their country. And that’s only the level of support for the most controversial Jihadist group there. They haven’t bothered to measure the level of support for more “moderate” Jihadist groups like the Al-Nusra Front, which is linked to Al Qaeda, or even the Islamic Front, whose components were included in the Free Syrian Army. The Sunni rebels backed by the West are universally Jihadist fighting forces.

Even the New York Times admitted that, “Nowhere in rebel-controlled Syria is there a secular fighting force to speak of.”

How much support do the Sunni rebel groups have among the refugees? 1 out of 5 would be bad enough, but the numbers for the entire Sunni Jihadist opposition are likely to be a lot higher.

And these Jihadist groups are terror risks almost as much as ISIS. A Syrian migrant at the Gates of Hungary was caught musing, “If the Free Syrian Army was here, they’d shoot that helicopter down.”

But plenty of FSA fighters are already in Europe or on the way there. How many of them will turn to terrorism in Europe? Even one is too many. But Europe is expected to take them in and find out later.

That’s not an argument for taking in more Syrians. That’s an argument for taking in zero refugees.

Muslim refugees in the United States have been a consistent vector for terror. Taking in tens of thousands more just makes the problem even worse.

Queen Rania tells us that we must either take in Muslim migrants or face Muslim terror. But if we stopped taking in more Muslims, we wouldn’t be facing so much Muslim terror. You don’t make a boat more seaworthy by drilling a bigger hole in it. Europe is taking in more Muslim migrants to appease a terror threat that would not exist if it stopped the tidal flow of Muslim migration to its borders.

No amount of “preventing violent extremism”, outreach, profiling, airport scanning and mosque surveillance will ever be enough as long as immigration provides fresh recruits for the Jihad.

UNHCR refugees with terror ties have already been caught by Norway. More are being found in Europe. But even if you could somehow catch all the terrorists, there is no way to intercept future terrorists who will only turn to Islamic violence once they are safely living in Europe.

Instead of doing the sensible thing, European countries are not only taking in “refugees”, but they’re even taking back Muslims from Europe who went to join in the fighting in Syria before deciding to come back. Not only is Europe taking in unknown terrorists, but it’s taking in known terrorists and trying to reeducate them out of their “extremism” before they go off on another killing spree.

But the surest way to stop them from killing isn’t to have some blonde social worker accompanied by a Taqiyya Imam preach to them about “moderate” Islam. It’s to keep them out of the country.

Queen Rania offers Europe a choice between Muslim refugees and Muslim terror. Historically, Europe has gotten both, taking in Muslim migrants and getting Muslim terror anyway. The most reliable way to stop Muslim terrorism is to stop Muslim immigration. No refugees, no terror.

And that’s something Queen Rania knows. Even as she lectures her European hosts on labeling the Muslim migrants with “with blunt pejoratives, as if some lives have lesser value than others. Invaders. Marauding foreigners”, her country has worked hard at keeping down its own Muslim brethren.

Her Hashemite Kingdom, a foreign transplant, has done everything it could to disenfranchise and expel the Palestinian Arabs who, unlike her husband’s family, actually belong there. Generations of Muslims have lived in Jordan without ever receiving citizenship. There are hundreds of thousands of stateless children in Jordan. Instead of taking them in, Jordan stripped citizenship from 1.5 million “Palestinians”.

Jordan is no more willing to accept the huge numbers of Syrians it has been burdened with than it was willing to accept the huge numbers of Palestinian Arabs already in the country. It’s not a matter of money. Not when the Jordanian king can order a $1.5 billion theme park built to cater to his whims.

But the refugees risk tilting the demographic balance in Jordan toward a Muslim Brotherhood takeover.

Jordan doesn’t want Palestinian Arabs or Syrians because it fears terrorism, violence and a takeover. Instead its rulers would like Europe to accept those risks while lecturing it on its intolerance for refusing to commit suicide. Jordan, like its Saudi masters, wants Europe to take in the Muslims that it fears.

Jordan and Turkey may have been forced to host huge numbers of Syrians, but they aren’t giving them citizenship the way that America, Canada and Europe are expected to. Turkey calls its 2 million refugees “guests”. Jordan tries to use the UN to move them out as fast as possible to European countries.

Muslim countries claim to care a great deal about their Palestinian Arab brethren, but no Muslim country has been willing to take them all in permanently. The same is true for the Syrian Arabs. Instead they are being calculatedly transformed into a stateless people to be inflicted on the gullible West.

No Muslim country wants to permanently take in large numbers of foreigners even when those foreigners share their religion and culture. No Muslim country wants to host people who support terrorist groups. And who can blame them? We don’t want to do it either. And why should we?

Why are we expected to permanently take in Muslims that the Muslim world doesn’t want?

What does the Muslim world know that we don’t? It knows that no refugees means no terrorism. After the Gulf War, Kuwait expelled hundreds of thousands of Palestinian Arabs for siding with Saddam. When the PLO took over parts of Israel, Jordan stripped Palestinian Arabs of citizenship.

Muslim countries have been very pragmatic about tossing their own cousins out the door the moment they show any signs of causing problems. Meanwhile Europe takes in known terrorists in the hopes of teaching them the joys of “moderate” Islam.

If we ought to learn anything from the Muslim world, it’s immigration policy. The United States ought to have the immigration policy of Mexico and Europe ought to have the immigration policy of Jordan.

Instead of trying to find out how many of the Syrians we are taking in support ISIS and other Islamic terrorist groups, we can spare ourselves the effort by only taking in genuine Christian refugees while letting Jordan, Turkey, Syria and Saudi Arabia figure out their own Muslim refugee problem.

Because the surest way to keep Muslim terrorists out is not to let any Muslim immigrants in.

Uhuru To Meet With The Pope, Have Dinner With Obama In The US

President Uhuru Kenyatta will be rubbing shoulders with some very important people when he arrives for a visit to New York City, USA, on Wednesday, September 23.

A dinner meeting with US President Barack Obama is expected during the visit. President Kenyatta will be joined by First Lady Margaret Kenyatta for the dinner.

Meetings David Cameron, the Prime Minister of England, Ban Ki-Moon, the United Nations Secretary General and other foreign leaders are all expected during the visit.

Among the people the President will meet with is Pope Francis. The meeting with the Pope will come on Friday, September 25. President Kenyatta is further expected to meet with other international figures during his packed schedule in New York City.

The trip is described as the busiest foreign trip made by President Kenyatta since becoming President.

President Kenyatta is further expected to address the United Nations General Assembly twice. The first address will come on Friday, Septmeber 25 while the second will be on Monday, September 28.

Ambassador Macharia Kamau, Kenya’s envoy to the United Nations, told the Daily Nation about the address: “The President is one of the few speakers at the plenary on Friday because Kenya co-chaired the working committee which formulated the Post 2015 development agenda on Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs),”

On Saturday, September 26, Kenyatta will be among the guests hosted by President Obama at a meeting on Peace and International Security. The meeting will be chaired by Obama.

Kenya and the USA have made strides to strengthen their ties in recent months. The most noticeable of all these efforts was the three day visit to Kenya in July of 2015 by Obama.

During the visit, the two nations signed KSh 1.2 trillion worth of deals. A huge chunk of the money, KSh 900 billion, was allocated to the construction of Lamu Port South Sudan and Ethiopia Transport Corridor (LAPSSET).

The US further made commitments to Kenya to aid in the fight against the al-Shabaab militia.

Boniface Mwangi calls President Uhuru a drunk and makes shocking allegations about The Late Fidel Odinga & Former V.P Wamalwa

boniface mwangi

As posted on Boniface Mwangi’s social media:

A Sobering Truth; Mr President

Storytelling and the use of parables is a common form of communicating truths and life’s lessons for the African. Perhaps it’s got to do with a traditionally non-literal culture but most probably it is simply because more often than not, the African would rather beat about the bushes than confront an issue directly.
Well, being the African I am, I will first use a parable. And not being one to skirt around issues, will go ahead and confront a real issue that needs addressing.

There once lived a powerful King, ruler of a vast West African Kingdom. This king was known to appoint a commoner as his ‘truth teller’. This truth teller lived among the king’s subjects and would periodically be summoned by the King to tell him what the people were saying about the king and his rule. If the commoner lied, the king would put him to death. It was in his life’s interest that the commoner told the king the truth.

The king in my story is our President, Uhuru Kenyatta. Unfortunately, the president lacks a ‘truth teller’, a commoner in his presidency to tell him the truth. l would like, as a commoner, to tell the truth to the King, and to tell him what is being said in his subjects’ chambers.

The people are saying that the president was a reluctant candidate who only ran for office to avoid the ICC. They’re saying that he loves his drink more than anything else.

We, Kenyans, substitute the word alcoholism with “loves to drink”. Stories abound about our president’s drinking escapades; how official guests at State House are kept waiting as his handlers try to sober him up. Of the president showing up late at state functions reeking of alcohol. There are many more but l would rather not tell them all.

The people who pushed Uhuru Kenyatta to vie for the top seat did not have Kenya’s best interests at heart. But since he is already there at the King’s seat, we must wish him well because if he fails, our country fails too.

Our president is a man like all of us and he needs to admit he has a sickness. Alcoholism is a sickness that can be treated. But the treatment does not work unless the patient is willing to face it. The people around the president will cover up his sickness but one day it might cost this country greatly. His sickness is already affecting our economy, what with the president out of the country half the time or on a drip as they try to sober him up.The men around the president have made bad decisions because he was blacked out and a quick decision had to be made.

His lack of decisive leadership is being felt. His public erratic behavior and look might point to a lack of a work ethic, a common trait with alcoholics.

He does not have to resign or tell the country he is suffering from alcoholism but he needs help. It might be implausible for the president to check into a rehab but the rehab can be taken to State House. A president who admits he is mortal and is struggling with alcoholism would be the poster boy for all of us living in shame because of our hidden sicknesses.

It is a big shame that we lost a Vice President to HIV-AIDS but even more unfortunate was that as a nation we did not use that opportunity educate the people about the virus and help minimise the stigma associated with it.
When Makgatho Mandela died, his father Nelson Mandela revealed that his eldest son had died of Aids. “Let us give publicity to HIV/Aids and not hide it, because [that is] the only way to make it appear like a normal illness.” He used his son’s death to help the country deal with the stigma of having relatives, friends with HIV-Aids.

A few months ago, Fidel died of a drug overdose but the country would not be told this because our politicians and their families want us to believe they are perfect.

They are not infallible. They are just like us and if they used their personal experiences to help other people, we would be collectively better off. People who are suffering from a problem should not be stigmatized or taught to brush off the seriousness of their problems.
President Barack Obama has had a 30-year struggle with smoking. He began smoking during his college days and he has tried to kick the habit. “I would say that I am 95 percent cured,” Obama said, “But there are times where I mess up.” “Have I fallen off the wagon sometimes? Yes. Am I a daily smoker, a constant smoker? No,” Obama said at the news conference.

Herein lies the problem; Kenya is going through a leadership crisis because we are a hypocritical nation. We assign blame all over but never address the real matter. If the president were to die because of a treatable disease like alcoholism, it would be a waste of life and l hope that this article will not be treated as propaganda but as a reality we need to face.
I empathise with the president and I hope that he will seek help for his own good and for the benefit of our great nation.
We need a president who is fit to serve the nation. He should address his personal problems so that the progress of the country moves at a steady pace; so that we stop staggering and the cabinet can stop issuing those hangover directives.

Trump’s ancestors not arrive in the United States late 1800’s as immigrants and There was some monkey business involved

The way he talks about immigrants and immigration, Donald Trump would have you think that a Trump came to the New World on the Mayflower, that a Trump signed the Declaration of Independence, that a Trump fought at the battle of Bunker Hill and so on.

Not only did Trump’s ancestors not arrive in the United States until the late 1800’s, the Trump family fortune wasn’t even started here. There was some monkey business involved in it as well.

A new book by Gwenda Blair, The Trumps: Three Generations That Built An Empire, describes how Trump’s grandfather came to the U.S. from his native Germany, started a small business in America, then set out for Canada to try to find a fortune during the Klondike gold rush.

Friedrich Trump, a barber’s apprentice in Germany, set out for America in 1885 at age 16. Friedrich’s father had died young, and the young man was looking to do something other than become a barber. He wound up in Manhattan at a time when, as Blair observes, there were no immigration quotas, and became a naturalized American. He Anglicized his name to Frederick and wound up in Seattle, looking to make his fortune.

In Seattle, the young Trump leased a small restaurant known as “The Poodle Dog” that advertised “private rooms for ladies,” which at that time was a reference to prostitution. His restaurant was doing well, but when he heard that John D. Rockefeller was financing a mining operation in a town called Monte Cristo, Trump knew he had to get in on it. In Monte Cristo, Trump filed a fraudulent mineral claim that he had no intention of working and built a hotel on the land, even though he didn’t own it. He then returned to the business of offering customers food, booze and women. When the Monte Cristo mining boom began to peter out both Rockefeller and Trump quietly backed out. This made them, according to Blair, two of the few who made money on the adventure.

By this time, miners had begun arriving to make the journey to the Yukon to mine for gold. Trump saw a golden opportunity. Not in mining, but in a series of trail-side restaurants that would also supply the miners with prostitutes. Just like his grandson’s casinos, Frederick Trump intended to make his fortune by, as Blair puts it, “mining the miners.”

In 1900, Trump was living in White Horse, Yukon, where he had once again built a hotel on land he didn’t own, across from the railroad station. His Arctic Restaurant offered arriving miners the things he had offered in his other ventures: food, liquor, gambling, and prostitutes. This business was to be short-lived, however. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police — the “Mounties” — were beginning to crack down on vice in the territory. But Trump had made his money, and as the Yukon gold rush was coming to an end, he made his way back to his native Germany, with a nest egg equal to about $600,000 in today’s money. What happened next was the height of irony, given his grandson’s talk about deporting undocumented immigrants in the U.S.

While in Germany, Trump got married. But he also ran into a problem. Military service was mandatory, but since he left at 16, he had been too young to serve. Now, he was over 35, and too old to serve. Trump tried to buy his way out of the predicament by offering to deposit his money in the village treasury. He then swore that he had not intended to avoid service, but was merely trying to help his mother. All he wanted to do was regain his German citizenship, and “lead a quiet life.” Local officials liked the plan. But Frederick Trump was not anybody important, and regional authorities rejected it. Frederick Trump, his wife who was at the time pregnant with Donald’s father Fred, and their daughter were stripped of their German citizenship and put on a boat to the United States.

Frederick Trump, according to the headline on Gwenda Blair’s story at Politico, is the person who made “The Donald” who he is. A shrewd businessman who was not afraid to bend the rules to his advantage. Most importantly, he was an immigrant who actually started his fortune not in the “land of opportunity,” America, but in Canada, and who was deported from his own homeland.

If only Germany had kept Frederick, America right now might not be dealing with “The Donald.”
