Did MOSES WETANGULA’s brother squander MONEY for Bring Back Zack

Tuesday, March 26, 2013 – Last year Kenyans were mobilized to raise money aimed at building the first Spinal injury rehabilitation center dubbed Bring Back Zack campaigns.

The campaigns by Zachary Kimotho were a success and although they did not raise the targeted Sh. 250 million, the public and corporate managed Sh. 70 million via M-Pesa, bank deposits and credit cards.

Zack managed to come back home to Kenya and did not have to go to South Africa and the last that was heard of the project was when the Kenya Paraplegic Organization (KPO) bought a 12 acre plot at Kiserian area where the rehabilitation center was to be built.

The fact that the public has been kept in the dark has raised questions because it has been 8 months since their website and Facebook page was update, and this has triggered Kenyans to think that a large chunk of the money may have gone in the recently ended campaigns.

Just to jog your memory KPO Executive Director is Tim Wanyonyi who has taken over from Fred Gumo as Westlands MP elect is also the brother to the Bungoma Senator elect Moses Wetangula.

According to Kenyans online more than Sh. 70 million was raised because the accounts have been active since the last update and maybe the money may have been used to see Wanyonyi take the seat.

Whether true or false, the question remains what happened to Bring Zack Back campaigns and the money Kenyans raised?
