UHURU KENYATTA takes the 25% command in 35 counties as RAILA ODINGA takes it in 31

Tuesday March 4, 2013 - News just in indicates that Jubilee Presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta has taken the 25% command of votes cast in 35 counties as Prime Minister Raila Odinga enjoys over 25% command of 31 counties.

According to provisional results released by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), Uhuru has reached the required 25 percent in 35 counties with Raila making it in 31 counties. Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi has only managed 25 percent in 3 counties.

If results continue trickling in this similar sequence then the 25% technicality is already eliminated for both candidates because it requires that you garner over 25% of votes cast in at at least 24 counties.

Voting dynamics may change as results continue to trickle in.
