3 LUO MPs offer to step down for RAILA ODINGA so that he can remain RELEVANT in Kenyan POLITICS
Saturday April 6, 2013 - Three MPs from the Coalition for Reform and Democracy (CORD) have offered to step down for Prime Minister Raila Odinga so that he can come back as Member of Parliament.
Credible sources say the MPs who are from the Luo community have offered Raila their positions so that he can remain relevant in Kenya politics after an embarrassing loss in the just concluded poll.
The MPs are from Kisumu County, Nairobi County and Homa Bay County.
Among those who have offered to step down for Raila Odinga is Kibra MP Ken Okoth.
Raila Odinga suffered a convincing defeat in the just concluded poll and he may remain irrelevant in Kenyan politics if he is not offered a place in the 11th Parliament.
