UHURU KENYATTA seeking phone records to show how 60 FAKE WITNESSES werebribed by ICC court

Thursday August 1, 2013 - President Uhuru Kenyatta is reportedly seeking phone records of 60 International Criminal Court (ICC) witnesses, who were allegedly bribed by agents of The Hague based court.

Credible sources say, Uhuru through his lawyer Steven Kay, went to court on Monday to compel Safaricom and Airtel companies produce SMS data, voice calls and Mpesa and Airtel money transfer of the 60 individuals from as far as 2008.

The individuals include some witnesses who ICC Prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda, has lined up to testify.

The records will also show the common numbers that the witnesses were communicating with during the time.

This will help corroborate or negate the claims some of the witnesses have made in regard to the offence that President Uhuru is facing at the ICC.

Uhuru’s team has also allegedly brought on board a British investigator who is booked at a hotel on Thika Road and whose task is to help strengthen Uhuru’s defence by discrediting some of the witnesses.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has been indicted by the ICC court in connection with 2007-08 post election violence where over 1,300 people died and over 650, 000 displaced.

Uhuru’s trial commences on November 12.
