CID director Ndegwa Muhoro  has summoned directors of  20 companies mentioned in massive land grab in Lamu to appear at the CID headquarters and have their statements recorded.
Speaking in Mombasa Muhoro said the investigating team cannot trace the directors from the addresses they were provided at the registrar of companies.
Muhoro disclosed that only two directors have voluntary recorded their statement with the team  appointed to probe the alleged  dubious land transaction

He said that so far more than 15 land officials have recorded statement with the team that comprises officials from the CID and Ethics and Anti corruption Commission.
Muhoro said   his office is not aware of a disjointed investigation into the massive land grabbing .
On Monday Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko expressed concerns over the ongoing parallel investigation.
Tobiko has called on Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo and EACC’s Director Mumo Matemu to conduct joint investigations.
