Confidential sources and documents reveal a cluster of names of alleged Karen land scam ‘list of shame’ with entry of new grabbers like Nairobi City County head of legal unit Mr. Gad Awuonda making his maiden ‘public’ entry.
Also from city hall is Kidero’s Chief of Staff Mr. Wainaina.
Already, CORD coalition named Nairobi Governor Dr. Evans Kidero, Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko, Deputy President William Ruto as among the top prime architects of the scam.
Others are Lands Minister Charity Ngilu (through her PA).
Other notable faces are Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, Dennis Appiah (also alleged to be a Kidero man) and musician Jagu.
It is believed that close to 50 politicians and wheeler-dealers around city hall and office of the Deputy President as well as officials at the lands ministry have all been swallowed in the scam.
On Wednesday, CORD leaders led by Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama, Siaya senator James Orengo, Suna East MP Junet Mohammed, Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale and nominated senator Elizabeth Ongoro will record statements with the ethics and anti-corruption commission.
The CORD leaders are required to officially provide documents supporting their last week assertions that several top leaders of the Jubilee government as well as Gov. Evans Kidero are among top grabbers of the Karen land which they hold belong to the public and not businessman Da Gama Rose or Jos Konzolo.
