MUTAHI NGUNYI'S VIEW ON UHURU'S MOVE AND DECISION. THIS IS WHAT HE SAID;

''The issue at The Hague is that the Government of Kenya, headed by PRESIDENT Uhuru Kenyatta, has refused to comply with the Court's order to help the prosecutor access inculpatory evidence against Uhuru Kenyatta. He is therefore expected at The Hague, not as Uhuru Kenyatta, but as the President of Kenya, to explain why his Government has declined to cooperate with the ICC order.
This move by the President is a big blow to the prosecutor given the fact that there was high expectation from the court that he would decline to appear personally at the Hague. In an event that he had refused to honor the courts summons, the warrant of arrest could have been issued against him.
It is most likely that he will respond by declaring that the President of Kenya is in Kenya, and that, as the ICC has always insisted, he has submitted to its authority as the accused, Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta. As such, being a private citizen, the court must not bother him with the requirement to assist the prosecutor. They could as well make a telephone call to the Acting President William Ruto."

The BIG QUESTION IS, what if the court holds him till the "Acting President or the Goverment" complies with the Court's order to help the prosecutor access inculpatory evidence against Uhuru Kenyatta......? it's tricky and may be counter productive for Mr Uhuru. So maybe that was the last, and I mean, last address by Uhuru the President of Kenya #JustThinking

WHAT DO YOU THINK FRIENDS?
