Well..when it comes to spreading misconceptions and untruths about Kenyans in the Diaspora, Mr Francis Atwoli takes the cake. The COTU boss sought to educate fellow Kenyans on how better off Kenyans at home are compared to those in the Diaspora.
One of the most laughable lines in his diatribe is that for a Kenyan in the US to “see” a $100 bill, he/she must work two, three or four jobs. I am not sure whom Mr Atwoli has been talking to since even someone working on federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour will amass $100 dollars in little less than 14hrs on one job.
He goes on to spew more laughable utterances stating that Kenyans working in industrial area and earning sh5000 is on the same level as someone earning 5,000 swiss francs.
Well..whatever mind altering drugs Atwoli is smoking, they should be banned.
