A post mortem examination on the late Mutula Kilonzo will be conducted this afternoon, following the arrival of the family pathologist from the United Kingdom.
The pathologist jetted into the country early this morning and thereafter headed to the ministry of health where he got clearance to perform the examination.
He will work with the other pathologists including government pathologist Johansen Oduor to ascertain the cause of death.
The post mortem examination was meant to have been conducted yesterday but was pushed to today to allow for the foreign pathologist to arrive.
It will be conducted at the lee funeral home. Mutula was found dead at his Maanzoni ranch on Saturday. The late Mutula will be laid to rest next week even though the family is yet to confirm the exact date of the burial.
