Evans Kidero Is A Loser

BY BOGONKO BOSIRE
With the speed of a rocket and the spirit of a champion, disgraced Nairobi governor Evans Kidero slapped Nairobi women’s rep Rachel Shebesh, touching off a firestorm of calls for him to resign. It was an evil action and affront upon women in particular and the society in general. I hate him with the same zeal God hates the devil.

Then, the arrogant prick went ahead and recorded a trumped up statement at the capital’s Central Police Station, ridiculously accusing Shebesh or grabbing his crotch. The lady says the man is a lying liar; and I believe her with all my guts.
For once, I do not believe Kidero whatsoever. He is unbelievably unbelievable. He is not a victim of natural selection; but a victim of unnatural selection. Remotely, if he is right that Shebesh grabbed is over-worked crotch, the only reaction would be to kiss Shebesh.
This is a story about a man who disrespects women. A story about a male chauvinist who has shredded all the respect we had on him; a man who should be forced to quit office and banned from holding such an office for as long he is alive; a man who should be interned in the asylum for criminal lunatics.

In my life as a journalist — or a gossip monger if you like, I have never respected Kidero; first he refused to pay Mumias Sugar farmers for supplying his firm with sugarcanes; then reportedly went ahead of manipulated the old judiciary to deny poor women a day’s pay.
By hitting Shebesh, a woman; a mother and wife, Kidero exposed his diabolical streak; the evil side that we never knew and are horrified to know. He has attracted a massive dose of public derision and misguided public glee inspired by his flaccidness; his misplaced arrogance and his inability to read and understand the public mood. As my mother, Queen Esther, the Great liked saying, any man who lays a finger on a woman is lower than the woman in terms of self-esteem.
With men like Kidero running Nairobi, a city I have come to love to hate; I am ashamed of being a man, sharing the same anatomy with men like him. I am even contemplating sex change. I am tired of being a man in a city where men lay hands on women; ladies who arepublic officials, ladies who have grown balls to confront men who refuse to pay workers.
I pity the Nairobi people who voted in this man. As many others, I am guilty of helping turn an unworthy corporate bureaucrat into a preening failure, a fraud, and I suggest Kidero should have been left run the private companies — like Mumias Sugar Limited — than entrusting such a man a vital county like Nairobi. I suggest brand Evans Kidero should be paid to sell shoes, bras and other paraphernalia that make women happy than running the county that has offered me refuge for more than a decade.
Kidero will and must resign, and I pray God for him to disappear into oblivion.
Kidero, the women beater; the women hater; the man who hates bold women has earned each of the vitroil and validated every critic and hater. Because finally, it is him who raised his massive hand, slapped a woman before TV cameras. When it was time for him to apologise, he lied to the whole world.
As for me, Kidero is a loser and I can’t wait for the day he leaves offices disgracefully.
Nobody inspires hate in my heart like Evans Kidero. I have gone to the loo to puke.
