Saturday July 13, 2013 - More trouble is piling for Kethi Kilonzo, after a Nairobi lawyer revealed that the University of Nairobi awarded Kethi a Masters degree fraudulently.
Mr Mutinda, the lawyer acting for Narc Party in the petition filed by Kethi Kilonzo at the High Court, revealed this on Saturday where he requested University of Nairobi to withdraw Kethi Kilonzo's Master’s degree because it was awarded irregularly.
Speaking to journalists on Saturday, Mutinda said the information was shared by a senior official from the National Security Intelligence Service who said the agency has enough evidence that Kethi’s Masters Degree was fake and University of Nairobi awarded her irregularly.
Another source said Kethi was awarded a fake master’s degree when her late father Mutula Kilonzo was former President Moi’s personal lawyer in early 2000’s.
Also former Attorney and Busia Senator, AmosWako, has also been implicated in the scandal which will be among the biggest scandals in Kenya’s education history.
