The Kenyan DAILY POST
Monday October 20th, 2014 -
Renowned political analyst, Mutahi
Ngunyi, on Monday urged former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to retire to
Bondo because his generation is history in Kenya’s politics and he should
nurture a younger person if he wants to compete with youthful President Uhuru
Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto.
Through his social media account on
Monday, Mutahi, who is famous for his wizardly political hypothesis said Uhuru
and Ruto have brought up a generation change in politics and it will be a
daunting task for Jakom to match the political prowess and
efficiency of Uhuru and Ruto.
Although he did not quote the
Biblical Exodus of Israelites from Egypt to Canaan, Mutahi indirectly said
Raila is like Moses who failed to enter the “promised land” even after assuring
Israelites that he will take them there.
This is what Mutahi Ngunyi said.
“Thro Uhuru/ Ruto,
Generational Succession HAS HAPPENED. It's irreversible. You can't return a
baby after birth. It’s over for Odinga generation,”
