LIFE IS WHAT WE MAKE IT!

In the wake, of life’s platitude
Life’s cake, vexes the multitude
Add the stake, of own ineptitude
Upon the take, of own attitude
Affirms or shake, our life’s fortitude
Is your life a lake of gratitude or servitude?

Best not partake, in endeavors that delude
For owns sake, thus must learn to seclude
Any a past mistake, allow it not to conclude
The now choices we make, but indeed include
Many a life’s quake, that we fail to elude
Is your life a lake of gratitude or servitude?

Should one awake, in a world so crude
Have no mind intake, of an ignorant prude
Gracefully forsake, fears or deeds that intrude
Upon the destiny we bake, let hope protrude
Over the many hurdles that brake and obtrude
Is your life a lake of gratitude or servitude?
