While many Africans beat their chest with pride of these phony euro created nations

...we fail to forget why they were created in the first place and also fail to notice how African nationalism is pro colonialism. Take for instance Namibia and Angola, two neighbors with different natural resources. While Namibia and Angola have zero trade ties, Namibia imports most of it's food stuff and other necessities like electronics, chemicals etc from Europe mainly Netherlands and UK, the other chunk of Namibia's imports are through SA, but from european  corporations which are based in SA. So Angola has oil which it exports out of Africa, but it's immediate neighbor Namibia, imports oil from overseas through South Africa. It's a huge mess.
While Angola export fish products to outside countries including China, Namibia imports fish from outside Africa, packaged fish from netherland companies. On the other hand, country like Angola import things like eggs from Brazil, South Africa exports lots of it's food products to EU. Basically, African nations have zro interest in trading with each other. Every individual is forced to sign trade deals that benefits mostly EU and keep the internal trades shackled. EU recently signed a new trade deal with East African countries like kenya and Rwanda, a deal Tanzanian government rejected. After 500 years of relations with EU, if you think they going to sign a deal that is mutually beneficial then you must need a brain transplant. With these important things African leaders can discuss and debate and sign into laws, their biggest achievement in 2016 was rolling out diplomatic passport for leaders so they can loot and run a way to another country when the going gets tough. Elect good leaders, not for your ego at the moment, but for your children's future.
