Kenya recalls its envoys

Nairobi, Kenya: The Kenyan Government has asked all 52 Ambassadors and High Commissioners in its foreign embassies to report back to the country within one week.

This follows reforms and redefinition of Kenya’s foreign policy mandate by the new Government.



"The Charge de Affairs, Deputy Ambassadors and Deputy High Commissioners will look after the affairs of the stations until further notice," said Head of Public Service Francis Kimemia.

Kenyans will be updated on further details in due course.
