First Programme:

Second Programme: DTILLS

This is a UK Govt funded Teacher Training Programme - DTILLS(Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector)
 

Course Name: DTILLS (Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector)

Duration: One Year

Level: 5

Awarding Body: OCR / City & Guilds

Features:

Points to remember:

1. Last date of enrollment is on 10 Sept 2013

2. Two days to three days/ week (15 hrs to 21 hrs per week)

3. Basic qualification - Preferably o level with some experience or A level qualification

4. Age Group: Between 18 years and under 59 years

5. Initially candidate has to fill college application form and needs to sit for literacy and numeracy test for maximum of one hour. Minimum pass mark is 40%. This is very basic examination based on level 1 or level 2.

6. Applicant many get their living expense for a student loan of up to £6928 per year

7. Applicant is eligible for a student grant of up to £3250 per year

8. Applicants with dependent children may also be eligible for a Parents Learning Allowance of up to £1508 as well as a child care grant to help with childcare costs

9. 30% discount with Transport for London Services (Student Oyster) to help them for their travel costs

10. Up to 20% on student discount in retail stores nationwide

11. Part Council tax Exemption

12. Course fully assignment based only

13. Eligibility: British Citizens, European Citizens with three years stay in UK, ILR/Settlement/Permanent Residency with three years stay in UK

14. Students may get their living expense range from £9000 to £18000 per year for their living/maintenance
