Duggan was under surveillance by the police, who believed he was a gang member in TMD, Tottenham Man Dem, just before the shooting officers thought he had collected a gun in east London.
A firearms officer shot him twice as he came out of a taxi that police had stopped. One bullet went through his arm, the other hit his chest and killed the father of four.
A gun was later found 10-20ft away from the scene, wrapped in a sock. Neither had any trace of Mr Duggan’s DNA or fingerprints, but his prints were found on a shoebox police said had been used to carry the gun inside the taxi.
What do you think of the verdict?
