6 reasons why you might still be single

By Becky Berre It’s so hard for single ladies and men in the dating world. There is always that one thing that will turn you off. Don’t we all wish it was easy to meet ‘Mr or Mrs’ right?
Here are some of the things that turn off most singles:
1. Lifestyle
We are all different therefore our way of living will definitely vary from one individual to another.  
The high flying individuals will want to interact with their own. Well, you cannot blame them. The reason behind this is sustenance.  They need assurance that their life will only change for the better and not the other way round.
Going out there and networking is a good first step.
2. Height
Most ladies out there will not give a second look at a guy who is shorter than them.  Ladies want men they can look up to literally. The taller the better.
This is however not true for all ladies out there. There are a number of women who are dating or even married to short men. The main thing women should consider is compatibility in terms of love and trust.

3. Religion
It is believed that it is best to date someone who is in the same religion as you. Well, religion is really important in any serious relationship. You need to keep in mind that you may end up with this person for a lifetime.

 If you are from different religions, you need to ask yourselves whether you are willing to involve your children in the ‘division’. Will they follow your religion or your spouse’s religion?
4. Character
‘The good ones are taken’. There is this popular assumption that the good ladies and men out there are either in a serious relationship or are married. How true is this?
The singles go to the dating scene with the notion that there is no good person out there. In real sense, there are many potential partners out there who are of good character.
5. Age
Age is a big factor when it comes to dating. There are two extremes, too old or too young. Should we therefore not give potentials a chance to play their cards? You may never know, the person may be ‘Mr or Mrs’ right.
It is believed that it is always best to date someone who is within your age group. Reason being, it is highly likely that you will have the same school of thought.
That said, age is not just a number but there is a lot that comes with it.
6. Education
Singles always look at the educational background of their prospective partner. Ladies prefer men who are advanced when it comes to education, while some men prefer it when the lady is not as advanced as they are.
Times have changed though whereby equality in a relationship is vital. It is important for couples to be on the same page in order to reason together.
