After lengthy speculations about the authenticity of Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s Presidential bid, it has always been speculated that Raila Odinga is truly a “project” of the United States and Britain governments.

This came openly last week after the two world super powers refused to congratulate Kenya’s President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto, a move which showed that they had their own preferred candidate but Kenyans rejected their candidate.

Also new reports indicate that Britain and US government  put pressure on Raila Odinga last week, urging him to file a petition at the Supreme Court challenging the declaration of Uhuru Kenyatta as the fourth President of Kenya.

Sources said US and Britain were shocked by Raila Odinga’s defeat since they had invested heavily on his Presidential campaigns.

The reports also said the US and UK diplomats advised Raila Odinga not to concede defeat and try other avenues of winning the Presidency.

British envoy to Kenya Dr Christian Turner is said to be behind the petition, which was filed by Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) leaders on Saturday challenging the election of Uhuru Kenyatta as the Kenya’s fourth President.
