PCSO arrested after pulling a motorist over admits drink-driving

A PCSO was arrested by colleagues from his own force for drink-driving when he called for back-up after pulling another motorist over, a court heard today.
Andrew Seston, of Cuxham Road, Watlington, drank two small bottles of red wine while sat in his car on his driveway the day before he was breathalysed, magistrates were told.
When the 44-year-old, who had worked for Thames Valley Police for eight years, flagged down a motorist during a routine patrol on April 22 in High Wycombe, the man became "aggressive and abusive," prompting Seston to radio for support from uniformed officers.

But when the reinforcements arrived it was Seston who was arrested after officers suspected he had been drinking.
The PCSO, who has since resigned, has been banned from the road after he admitted a single count of driving while over the legal alcohol limit.
Prosecutor Evelyn Malayapillay told Aylesbury Magistrates' Court Seston gave a positive breath test and at the police station he gave two readings, the lower of which was 67 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Seston made "full admissions" to drink-driving when he was quizzed by officers, said Ms Malayapillay.
He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £110. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs as well as a £20 victim surcharge.
Seston agreed to complete a drink-driver rehabilitation course, which will see his driving ban shortened by four-and-a-half months.
