A cargo plane has this morning crashed at a commercial building at Utawala in Embakasi, Nairobi killing 4 crew members on board on the spot.
The Fokker 50 cargo plane first hit an electric pole then crashed into a commercial building before bursting into flames.
The plane was ferrying miraa to from JKIA to Mogadishu and it crashed immediately after taking off. JKIA Chief of Security Eric Kiraithe confirmed the incidence.
The civil aviation investigation team has arrived on the spot and they are now carrying out the investigations to establish the cause of the accident.
One more body has been spotted behind the building at the scene of incidence and the GSU assisted by Kenya Red Cross personnel are doing everything possible to retrieve the body.
This incident has led to the closure of the Eastern By-pass until the rescue operation is over.
