Wednesday August 14, 2013 - President Uhuru Kenyatta has launched scathing attacks at former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, for pushing for a constitution referendum, two years after the constution was overwhelmingly passed by Kenyans.
Speaking in Gatundu during a meeting organised by PCEA Women’s Guild, Uhuru said he is tired of Raila Odinga’s threats of calling for a constitutional referendum saying his Government will deal ruthlessly with those individuals inciting Kenyans.
Uhuru who appeared infuriated by Raila Odinga’s push for a referendum said the Jubilee Government will not continue to be threatened by losers who were openly rejected by Kenyans on March 4th
He said the Jubilee Government will continue building Kenya as CORD leaders shout in the streets, urging Kenyans to support him as he continues to revive the economy.
The former PM and other CORD lieutenants are pushing for a referendum that will see the abolishment of the current Presidential system of governance to a parliamentary system of government.
